Summary: "Dr. Franzen is board certified to practice psychiatry and is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Additionally, he is board certified in addiction medicine and is a diplomat of the American Board of Preventative Medicine. He completed his residency training at the University of Hawaii and at the University Of Nebraska Medical Center. During his training, he was involved in neuroscience research at UNMC which utilized magnetoencephalography (MEG) and explored the neural underpinnings of psychiatric related disorders.
